Where to Mount an Apple TV in Your Classroom

Updated: Aug 2, 2023

With a growing number of teachers finding the value in using iPads for their lessons, it’s only natural that their classrooms should evolve too.

The combination of an iPad and Apple TV is advantageous and definitely more interactive than the traditional laptop set-up.

For the ease of teachers, we’ve come up with some recommendations on where to mount the device around the class.

Remember that you’ll need an HDMI cable and a power source nearby.

  • Option 1

Next to the panel

The best and most effective location is on the wall next to the panel. As you can see from our pictures, you can keep everything organised in one central spot and tie up the wires too.

  • Option 2

On the teacher’s desk

Another choice is to use the teacher’s desk at the front of the classrooms. Though we’d like to keep it clear, it’s still a good spot to place the gadget.

  • Option 3

On top of the projector

Placing the Apple TV on top of the projector is our last option. It would be good to get the advice of the IT department to test the range so that your classes run smoothly!
